Tour For Life – Adopt A Dog in NYC

ADORABLE, ADOPTABLE DOGS, CATS, PUPPIES AND KITTENS TAKE OVER COLUMBUS CIRCLE TO CELEBRATE THE FINAL STOP OF NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE AMERICA’S 17th ANNUAL

TOUR FOR LIFE®

Tour Has Traveled Over 20,000 Miles and Saved Over 1400 Lives

$100 Off Adoption Fees For All Approved Adopters

WHAT:          North Shore Animal League America, in partnership with Purina®, is making the final stop of its national life-saving adoption event, Tour For Life®, in Columbus Circle, NYC (between Central Park West and Broadway) on Friday, April 21st, beginning at 11:00 am.  Dozens of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available for adoption and there will be a $100 OFF adoption special for all approved adopters throughout the day.

Brian Balthazar, TV personality and Animal League America supporter, will host the ceremonies. As part of this life-saving celebration, North Shore Animal League America will present NYPD DCPI Detective Charles Cadiz, with the Animal League America’s Crystal Collar Award of the Animal Cruelty Investigation Squad for his commitment and dedication to saving the lives of abused and mistreated animals, as well as ensuring the prosecution of the abusers.

In addition students from local schools, Stephen Gaynor, Manhattan and Junior High School 88, Peter Rouget, Brooklyn, will also be in attendance to help raise funds and awareness for local shelters and the Mutt-i-grees’ programs that teach social and emotional learning skills with the use of animals.
