Art Exhibit To Benefit Rescue – May 6 2015

Kamp Studios is thrilled to announce an exhibition and silent auction of dog-inspired artwork benefitting Second Chance Rescue. For one night only, /’reskyoo/ will feature paintings, photographs, collages, and more by over 30 established and emerging artists from around the world.

From a striking photograph of William Wegman’s famous Weimaraners to a dreamy portrait from award-winner Sophie Gamand’s “Pit Bull Flower Power” series to a hilarious hand-drawn poster by illustrator extraordinaire Nathaniel Russell, /’reskyoo/ will showcase spectacular mixed media works for art- and dog-lovers alike.

The event aims to raise awareness for abandoned and neglected animals, with all proceeds from the silent art auction to benefit New York’s Second Chance Rescue. “It is part of our mission to help educate and raise awareness of the plight of animals in this country and the humane treatment they deserve through a creative and cultural facet- as well as raise funds for Second Chance Rescue to continue saving animals with severe and critical medical cases-through this we hope to reach a wider audience,” says co-curator Kelcy Dakota. The show will take place at The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory in New York City on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Tickets can be purchased in advance at here

The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory is located at 104 West 14th Street, 3rd floor, NY NY
