There are plenty of fabulous finds at your local animal shelter. Today we have an adoptable dog eager to find the love of his life.

Nazaire was rescued by Pibbles and More Animal Rescue back in December 2012 from the horror of New York Animal Care and Control system. Found as a stray and very underweight, he quickly became volunteer favorite.  Sweet and a little  goofy, he loves to play.  You can see that his handsome good looks include a coal black coat with a little white patch on his chest and white toes.

Nazaire was well on his way to freedom when disaster struck and he was badly injured by another dog in his foster home. The scars you see in his pictures are proof his mishap.
Thankfully, his personality is unscarred.  He’s bounced back and is now a healthy 50lb dog who’s as sweet as can be. This handsome fellow adores people, loves to be cuddled and knows fetch and sit. He is surprisingly low maintenance – completely housebroken, low to mid energy level and would be great in an apartment or house.

Naturally, Nazaire  can be a little shy and unsure with other dogs, but is responding very well to training.
For additional information about Nazaire, contact Pibbles ‘n More Animal Rescue by emailing [email protected] or visitwww.pmarinc.org, where you can find an adoption application, too.
