Meet Russell

Fall leaves are changing, NYC! What better way to get out and enjoy the great outdoors than with a canine companion?! Check out your adoptable dog of the week, Russell.

Russell here is a handsome little Shih-Tzu mix. This cutie pie is approximately 5 years old and has a smile that last for days. Doesn’t that face just make you melt? We’re told Russell has quite the energy to spare but it’s important to keep him in a calm state of mind as much as possible because this little boy has a heart condition. Due to his condition, his new owner will need to give him a daily pill in addition to trying to zen him out. It’s a small favor for him which he will gladly repay you back with plenty of love, kisses and cuddles. He would make a perfect addition to anyone who works at home or a calm household.

Like all dogs residing at the Humane Society of New York, Russell is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all of his shots. Head on down to HSNY located at 306 East 59th St. (between 1st and 2nd Avenue) in Manhattan and meet this sweet boy. Questions? Drop them a line by calling 212-752-4810.
