Meet Sweet Nola Belle

Meet your adoptable dog of the week, NYC. Her name is Nola Belle.

Nola is a very gorgeous gray/blue and white American Staffordshire Terrier/Weimeraner mix. This 2 year old female pup weighs 60 pounds and we’re told she is as sweet as can be! She is a super loving young girl who is looking to please her new savior/adopter. She’s quite a quick learner and she’ll do just about anything for a savory treat!

As you can see, she has big expressive eyes which makes her even more precious. Nola Belle was rescued from the euthanasia list at a local shelter and is now in foster care waiting for a loving forever home that she truly deserves. Are you looking for a cuddle bug? Well this girl loves to give hugs and eats up any physical affection you’re willing to give her.

She would do great in a home with kids as she is gentle and easy-going. Nola is happiest at your side but loves to take naps next to you or even better, on your lap! She enjoys the company of other dogs and even gets along great with cats.  She has loved every dog she’s met and shows no mind to cats when she spies them on her walks.

The ideal home for her would be one where she can get ample exercise to keep her happy and mentally happy with toys or rawhides. Nola gets excited to go on walks and would love to also run or go on a bike ride. A nice sized yard for her to play in would be a big plus but no required. Since this smart girl is still young, she would greatly benefit from some basic obedience training.

For more info, to fill out an adoption application or to set up a meet and greet, please send an email to her rescue advocate at [email protected] or [email protected].
